About the Artist
Hi! My name is Aliyah Chastain and I am a semi-self-taught artist from North Carolina. I work in graphite, PanPastel, and colored pencils.
I live with my family on our little farm nestled in the majestic Appalachian Mountains, surrounded by the beautiful landscapes and creatures depicted in my pieces.
My hope is that you enjoy viewing these pieces as much as I enjoyed creating them.
My Purpose
The beauty created by human hands, no matter the medium, is all imitations of the unrivaled majesty created by God. Hence the name, Imitations of Creation. It is my intent to share this with as many who will listen, God is the one true artist. My artwork is my way of appreciating God's magnificent creation.
